This is Hikari, my all time favourite roleplaying game character that I came up with sometime in the fall of 1998. When I created her, I took inspiration from both chinese and tibetan culture as well as some of the classic fantasy themes. She is a young warrior fascinated with mystical runes and writings, searching for her place in the world. She isn´t yer typical noble hero tough, fighting against impossible odds trying to "save the world". Rather the opposite, she knows to value her life as well as others, helping out when she feels that she should, but also being able to choose when not to. During her adventures she has earned a reputation for being a competent warrior and a hero. And as you can see from the picture, she has a very VERY large sword, which she values above all other earthly things ;) The gameworld wich I created her for, Earthdawn, is unfortunetly out of production since early 1999, but even so I don´t think the fantasy world has seen the last of her yet :) Great news! As of spring 2001, Earthdawn has been brought back to life by Living Room Games, and new material is again being published! Life can be good... ^_^ Back to the gallery.
